The
Donaldson Fund
Eddie
Donaldson was the founding father of the ophthalmic training scheme
at Sydney Eye Hospital. He was seminal in the formation of the Royal
Australian College of Ophthalmologists from the Ophthalmological
Society of NSW in 1968 and he was a pioneer of retinal surgery in
Australia.
The
Donaldson Fund honours his contributions and seeks to support the
education of ophthalmologists through funding research and supporting
the biennial scientific meeting.
Donations
to the Fund are welcome and tax deductable.
