Eye Hospital Alumni
Travelling Fellowships
The
Alumni will award an $10,000 travelling scholarship to
a SEH final year registrar or recent (within 5 years) graduate
to pursue further studies in Ophthalmology, preferably overseas.
Applicants
should forward the following to Dr Alex Paul Hunyor at Sydney
Eye Hospital for consideration by the Fellowship subcommittee
of the Alumni.

Travelling Fellowship 2009
Applications
will open in mid 2009 for the 2009 Sydney Eye Hospital
Alumni Association Travelling Fellowship.
This
$10,000 fellowship is open to recent graduates from the SEH
training programme, to further their training experience
overseas.
The Fellowship is only open to those currently in their last
year of training,
or within the first 5 years of finishing their training at
SEH.
The fellowship must be taken within 18 months of being
awarded.
Applicants
should send, by mail or email an outline of their planned fellowship,
any funding arrangements (either by the institution or external
funds – eg other fellowships),
and a copy of their current CV to Alex P. Hunyor
The
closing date for applications will be declared later.
The
successful applicant will be announced at the last Grand Rounds
meeting for 2009.
